    Description

Amiko Magnetic Safety Stirrups, Aluminium Top Opening

A safety stirrup with a magnetic release mechanism that opens at the top — designed to free your foot in a fall, then lock cleanly back into place when you remount. Built for riders who want proper safety without compromising on grip, weight, or feel in the saddle.

The body is durable aluminium and the pair weighs 1500 g together, giving you enough mass to find them quickly with your foot while keeping the overall weight balanced for daily riding. The top section is what sets these apart: under pressure (such as from a foot getting caught in a fall), the magnetic catch releases and the top opens, freeing your foot. Once pressure is gone, the magnet snaps the top securely back into position — no fiddling, no resetting before you can ride again.

The tread is stainless steel for solid grip in wet, muddy, or icy conditions, and the stirrups fit standard stirrup leathers, so they slot straight into your existing tack setup. Universal sizing at 12 cm — wide enough for adult riding boots without being roomy. Sold as a pair. Available in silver, black, and gold.

Suitable for everyday training, schooling, and competition across all disciplines.

Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth after riding, especially after wet or muddy sessions. Dry thoroughly before storing to prevent corrosion. Avoid harsh detergents or solvents that may affect the magnetic mechanism. Check the release mechanism regularly for proper function — a quick test press is good practice before competitions.
