The loose ring cheeks of the Elena Snaffle offer great mobility as the bit can adjust to the horse’s mouth movements more easily. It provides direct contact with immediate release, where pressure on the tongue and bars ceases as soon as the rider releases the reins, allowing the bit to return to a neutral position in the horse’s mouth.

The single-jointed mouthpiece creates a nutcracker action, applying gentle pressure to the lips and bars of the mouth. When combined with the loose ring cheeks, this design encourages the horse to accept the bit and maintain a consistent contact.
