Cool on Track Horse Rug

A cooling rug for horses that need help managing heat during summer, after work, or while travelling. It cools through water evaporation, making it practical to re-wet and reuse throughout the day.

The rug is built from a structured 3D mesh with large cooling panels along both sides of the body. The cooling material (95% PVA, 5% cotton) absorbs significant amounts of water and lowers the surface temperature as it evaporates. The spine section remains mesh-only to allow airflow along the back and prevent heat from being trapped. The effect is targeted, focusing on the larger muscle groups where heat builds up.

Front and belly closures use wide Velcro straps combined with stainless steel rings for secure and adjustable fastening. Tail strap loops are included. Available in sizes 125–165 in Blue. Can be combined with the matching Cool on Track neck cover and pairs well with the Cool on Track Bell Boots 2.0 for consistent cooling management.

Care Hand wash only at 30°C. Use a small amount of mild liquid detergent. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out excess water. Store flat and never fold when dry. If the material dries and hardens, soak thoroughly before unfolding or using. Avoid bending or creasing when dry, as cracks may occur. If cracking appears, the rug can still be used but may absorb less water, reducing the cooling effect.
