1. General

The following terms and conditions (“Membership Terms”) are valid between you and Amiko and Friends (“Amiko & Friends,” “us,” “we”) and apply to your subscription to the services of Amiko & Friends (“the Service”).

By becoming a member, you confirm that you have read the Membership Terms and that you accept to be bound by them. Before you accept the Membership Terms, you shall also read and understand our Privacy Policy [LINK].

Amiko & Friends reserves the right to revise the Membership Terms at any time. The date of the latest update is found in the final section of the Membership Terms.

2. Membership

Amiko & Friends offers a paid membership that grants you access to premium equestrian products at significantly reduced prices. Each membership comes with a spending allowance based on your selected tier, which you can use over a 12-month period. Memberships will automatically renew for another 12-month duration unless cancelled by the member during the 30 days before the renewal date. Members will receive notifications prior to renewal.

Memberships are personal and non-transferable, limited to one per individual, and only for household purchases. Sharing credentials or making purchases for third parties is prohibited and may lead to termination.

Spending allowances are capped depending on the membership tier. Amiko & Friends reserves the right to adjust these limits or make changes to membership tiers. Any modifications will be communicated in advance.

To become a member, you must be a resident of the EU, US, or UK and at least 20 years of age.

3. Membership Plans

Amiko & Friends offers three membership levels—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—each with a yearly spending allowance and flexible payment options, either monthly or annual.

Example: For Silver, the monthly payment option costs €13 per month, totaling €156 over 12 months. In contrast, the annual payment option charges €120 upfront, equivalent to €10 per month when spread over the same period.

The annual spending allowance reflects the maximum amount members can spend on products each year, not a preloaded balance. Memberships last 12 months, renewing automatically unless canceled during the last 30 days before renewal. Members will receive notifications prior to renewal.

Payment Options

• Monthly Payment Plan: Billed monthly for 12 months, starting from your sign-up date. Example: If you join on January 1 with the monthly option, your next payment will be on February 1, and so on.
• Annual Payment Plan: Pay once, covering 12 months at a discounted rate. Example: Annual members pay once on their start date, with renewal on the same date the following year, unless canceled.

We use Stripe as payment services. For detailed information, please refer to Stripe Payment Terms [LINK].

We accept the following payment methods via Stripe:

• Credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
• Apple Pay
• Google Pay

All membership payments will be charged in EUR (Euro). Please be aware that any charges or penalties imposed by the payment provider as a result of processing your payment for the order are not the responsibility of Amiko & Friends.

Please note that certain payment methods may incur additional fees. If applicable, these fees will be displayed in your subscription details prior to making a purchase.

Trial-membership

By accepting and activating a trial membership invitation, you agree to the following terms: During the trial membership period, you can shop for a maximum total value of €125. The trial membership is valid for a maximum of 30 days from the date of activation and limited to one per household. After the 30-day trial period ends, your shopping privileges will be suspended, regardless of how much you have spent. Once your trial membership has concluded, you are welcome to register for one of our standard memberships to continue enjoying our services.

4. Upgrade and Cross-Grade Membership

You can upgrade your membership at any time to a higher tier, accessing an increased spending allowance and additional benefits. For monthly members, an Outstanding Balance Payment applies, covering the unpaid portion of your current membership; annual members can upgrade without this adjustment.

If you’ve reached your spending allowance but wish to stay in your current tier, cross-grading is available. Cross-grading renews your spending allowance and restarts the 12-month duration early.

6. Products

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

We have taken utmost care to accurately display the colors and images of our products on the store. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the precise color accuracy on your computer monitor.

7. Term and termination

Each Amiko & Friends membership is valid for 12 months from the sign-up date and will automatically renew for another 12 months unless canceled. Cancellations can be made only during the last 30 days before the renewal date.

You may also cancel within the first 14 days of your membership; however, all purchased items must be returned unused and with tags attached in order to exercise this right. To cancel, visit “My Account” > “Subscription” and select “Cancel” or email us at hello@amikoandfriends.com. For annual payment members, cancellations must be completed before the renewal date to prevent the next year’s charge. Monthly members who cancel during their initial 12-month term will continue billing through the full period.

8. Right of withdrawal, exchanges, and other rights

According to Swedish Consumer Law, the purchase of the Service does not grant you the right of withdrawal. This is because the Service is immediately fulfilled upon granting you access to purchase products based on your membership.

However, we offer our members the option to withdraw their purchase of the Service by submitting a notice to Amiko & Friends within 14 days from the date of signing up. Please note that in order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must return any purchased products in the same condition in which they were received.

If you send an email, we will confirm receipt of your notice. Please always use the email address associated with your account when communicating with us. It is recommended to keep a copy of your cancellation notification for your records.

Refund related to the right of withdrawal:

If you decide to withdraw your purchase of the Service in accordance with the terms described in this section 7, Amiko & Friends will refund the amount you paid and cancel any future payments for your membership. We will also provide a refund for any products you have purchased. Please be aware that you are responsible for the cost of returning any purchased products, and Amiko & Friends will not reimburse you for the shipping expenses.

Amiko & Friends will process the refund within 14 days after receiving your notice of withdrawal, provided that we have received the purchased products or evidence of their shipment. The refund will be issued using the same payment method you used for the original purchase.

9. Refusal, Suspension or Termination of Membership

We have the authority to restrict, suspend, or terminate your membership and access to the service without prior notice if we determine that you have violated these Membership Terms, any other service rules, or applicable laws. Amiko & Friends also reserves the right to review your member account if there are suspicions of service abuse.

Furthermore, we retain the right to decline membership at our discretion, which may include considering any previous breaches of the Membership Terms.

The Amiko & Friends membership is exclusively meant for personal use, allowing purchases for yourself and your household’s usage. It is important to note that buying products with the intention of selling them to third parties is strictly prohibited under the membership terms.

If we have reasonable suspicion that a member is engaging in the sale of products to third parties, we reserve the right to cancel their membership. Our aim is to ensure that the membership remains focused on personal enjoyment and not commercial resale activities.

10. Provisions Severability

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Instead, the invalid terms will be replaced with other terms that serve the same purpose and intent as these Terms and Conditions.

11. Governing Law

The governing law for these Terms and Conditions is Sweden. All disputes related to these Terms and Conditions will be exclusively referred to the district court of Stockholm as the court of first instance, except where prohibited or in relation to any statutory rights for consumers.
