The three-part design ensures a gentle and steady connection with your horse’s mouth. The central lozenge reduces the nutcracker effect of a single-jointed bit whilst also distributing pressure evenly over the tongue and bars of the mouth. This promotes a soft contact, enabling clear aids through the reins. The copper lozenge creates a positive effect and acceptance of the bit. Copper is a warm and soft metal, emitting a sweet and pleasant taste. This creates a warming sensation which encourages salivation and mouthing on the bit.

The loose ring cheeks offer great mobility which helps discourage fixing and leaning, as the bit can adjust to the horse’s mouth movements more easily. It provides direct contact with immediate release, where pressure on the tongue and bars ceases as soon as the rider releases the reins, allowing the bit to return to a neutral position in the horse’s mouth.
