Kentucky Waterproof Combo Fly Rug Classic
This one covers both problems at once: flies and rain, on the milder days from spring through fall when a horse still needs protection but not a full winter rug.
The back is 600D ripstop polyester with a 10,000mm water column, so rain stays out, lined with a smooth, anti-bacterial polyester layer underneath. The sides switch to a breathable mesh that keeps insects off without trapping heat, and both fabrics offer UV protection. The combination means the rug stays breathable even on warmer, humid days.
It’s anatomically shaped, closing with 2 front closures and 2 surcingles. The neck is detachable, held on by 2 hook-and-loop closures positioned on the inside so water can’t seep in at the seam. Available in sizes 140, 145, and 155 cm.
Care Machine washable at 30°C. Air dry completely, do not tumble dry.
