Description
Castilgo Short Boots – Florencia
Crafted from premium Italian leather with soft suede panelling, the Florencia short boot is cut slightly above the ankle for a sleek silhouette that moves easily from the stable to everyday life. The leather is water-repellent, keeping your feet dry through rain, dew, and damp ground — ideal for stable routines no matter the weather (though not made for standing water or wading through puddles). The lining adds warmth on cooler days, and thoughtful construction gives you lasting comfort and support wherever the day takes you. A tassel detail on the front zip adds a subtle, distinctive finish.
Available in true-to-size fit — check our size guide to find yours.
This is a boot made to last: full-grain Italian leather that only gets better with age, paired with construction that holds up to daily stable life. It’s the kind of boot you reach for without thinking twice — because it works as hard as you do, and still looks good doing it.
Care Instructions
To keep your Florencia boots looking their best:
- Wipe clean after use. Remove dirt and dust with a soft, dry brush or cloth before it has a chance to set in.
- Let them dry naturally. If wet, stuff with paper to help them keep their shape and dry away from direct heat or sunlight — heat can crack the leather and dry out the suede.
Condition the leather panels regularly. Use a leather conditioner or balm every few weeks to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking over time. - Refresh the suede panels with a suede brush. Brush gently in one direction to lift dirt and restore the nap.
- Reapply water-repellent treatment periodically. The leather’s water resistance will fade with wear — a leather protector spray every 1–2 months (or after heavy use) keeps it performing.
- Store upright with boot shapers or trees. This prevents creasing and helps the boots hold their form between wears.
- Avoid submerging in water. These boots are water-repellent, not waterproof — avoid standing water, deep puddles, or heavy rain exposure for extended periods.
With a little regular care, the leather will develop a natural patina over time — a sign of a well-loved, well-used boot.
